Processor magazine featured Pete Sacco, president of PTS Data Center Solutions, in their May article, "Changing The Oil In Your Data Center."

May 22, 2008 (FPRC) -- Franklin Lakes, NJ – Peter Sacco, president of PTS Data Center Solutions, is featured in the May 16, 2008 issue of Processor magazine (Vol.30, Issue 20). In the article "Changing The Oil In Your Data Center," Sacco discusses the value of implementing a scheduled maintenance plan to ensure reliable data center operations.

Maintenance neglect is an all-too-frequent cause of unplanned data center downtime. This people-related problem stems from improper documentation of the maintenance process, failure to adhere to a set maintenance schedule, and the overlooking of critical systems. Sacco explains that, when it comes to keeping up with a regular maintenance program, "staff responsible for maintenance should adapt a strategy of ‘people do what you inspect rather than what you expect,’ and follow through consistently to understand what services are being performed."
