Cyclist Publishes New Book About His Exciting Bike Journey Around Wales – Chester to Chepstow by John Davies

‘Chester to Chepstow’ is written by 59 year old John Davies from Wales. His cycle ride around Wales is the achievement of a long-held ambition. Fulfilling this ambition inspired him to write this book. Describing Wales John says; “Wales is a marvellous place to visit, a land of magnificent mountains, verdant valleys, beautiful beaches and towering castles.” Wales has a rich cultural heritage and the book is enlivened by the many interesting and humorous conversations with local people.
A Welsh International rugby player and a company director are two of the people who gave exclusive interviews in this book. This is essential reading for cyclists and couch-potato pedallers as well. Those who have read this book have all said it was easy to read and they enjoyed it.
The youngest of six children, John Davies was born in Port Talbot in 1948. He attended Glanafan Grammar School and has been happily married to Adrianne for 35 years. Their son Ian was born in 1979. John has been a fitness fanatic all his life and is a member and treasurer of Port Talbot Harriers Athletic Club. He retired after 30 years service with BP Chemicals and has been running, writing, cycling and playing guitar ever since.
