Online Basketball Coaching Clinics 2.0—the Best Way to Become a Better Basketball Coach

Perfect Practice and The Coaching Toolbox announce partnership to create online HoopClinics.

August 5, 2008 (FPRC) -- HoopClinics is a new partnership between Perfect Practice and the Coaching Toolbox with the mission of providing basketball coaches with a contextual, focused, and detailed presentation of information and materials that can be put to use effectively and immediately at all levels of basketball coaching. The information will be released and delivered online through a series of basketball coaching clinics.

The goal of the partnership is to provide basketball coaches with a system and a way to teach that system as opposed to gathering various disconnected pieces of information from various sources.

The first Clinic in the HoopClinics series will be launched on September 1. The components of the clinic will be as follows:

1. A choice between flex offense or five out motion
2. Pack Line Defense
3. Developing a program identity
4. How to implement all of these ideas in practice

The program will be delivered in multiple formats including audio, video, podcasts, narrated and animated video screencast demonstration, and e-books. The clinic will also be available as a bound paper book packaged with CDs and DVDs. In addition to philosophies, youth basketball drills, and practice implementation ides, a notable feature of the program is that it will include an interview with a college coach.
