Register to Vote at the YWCA Dayton

U.S. Citizens can register to vote at the YWCA Dayton

September 11, 2008 (FPRC) -- "Election Day 2008 will affect your entire family. The leaders you elect make decisions that affect your job, your health care, your energy costs, your security and the legacy you leave to future Americans. Be a part of this important election by voting on November 4th. Your vote helps to make your democracy strong and influence the direction of your country."

These words of wisdom from the League of Women Voters website are echoed by the YWCA Dayton. Taking lead from the YWCA USA’s national initiative to "Let’s Go Vote" campaign, the YWCA Dayton is now a Voter Registration site. Any U.S. Citizen who is not a registered voter may stop by the YWCA Dayton and pick up a voter registration form. There are simple instructions to follow on the form and once completed, the form can be left at the YWCA and they will see to it that it is forwarded to the Montgomery County Board of Elections.

For more information about registering and voting, it is suggested that you visit the League of Women Voters website at www.lwv.org. To register to vote at the YWCA Dayton, pick up a registration form in the lobby during business hours of 8am to 5pm. The YWCA Dayton is located at 141 W.
