Real Women Wear Lipstick While They Kick Ass

The phrase "Real women wear lipstick while they kick ass" expresses a working woman's frustration with the insensitive remarks of national politicians.

September 15, 2008 (FPRC) -- A working mom from Georgia is tired of the debate about whether Sarah Palin can work for our country and be a good mother at the same time. Lori Etheridge, a working mother of two, was listening to news reports about the lipstick-on-a-pig controversy when she heard enough. Lori exclaimed, "I am a mother, I work full time, I run my household and I volunteer in my community. Can a woman be a good mother and work outside the home? Of Course! American women have been doing it for decades.'

Lori then yelled the phrase "Real women wear lipstick while they kick ass" which expressed her frustration with a national politician demeaning the contribution that mothers make in our country. Lori explained, 'This phrase encompasses everything we as women do to keep our home, schools, offices, businesses and governments working.'

Putting the slogan 'Real women wear lipstick while they kick ass' on a tee shirt with an image of a donkey was an effective way to show people in her town how she felt. So many people in Georgia asked for the shirts that Lori and her husband David decided to offer shirts and bumper stickers with Lori’s slogan. Anyone in the U.S. can get the shirts and bumper stickers shipped to them by ordering at http://www.seoword.com/lipstick. The price of the shirts is $15 and the bumper stickers are $5 each.

Lori and David Etheridge build barn wood furniture that they sell on their web site http://www.studiocraft.net. They have never been involved in politics before but were moved to act due to the insensitive remarks of a national politician.
