Sep 30, 2008 – Fight line of products added to e-store

Entrepeneurial artist, Steamy Raimon, comes up with another winner. In his efforts to continually add new and challenging images for products sold exclusively on his e-store, Steamy unveils his latest addition, 'Fighter On The Inside', which now joins the already successful 'Biker On The Inside' (both men and women versions), 'Golfer On The Inside', 'Fisherman On The Inside', and 'Scrapbooker On The Inside' designs. The images appear on t-shirts, mugs, hats, and most on bumperstickers. The macho 'Fighter On The Inside' design isn’t on bumperstickers, as of the date of this article, but it is expected to become available at www.cafepress.com/surfshack, at the Occupations & Lifestyles section, before year end.

Steamy has been a fight fan and martial arts practicioner for many years. Recently, his enthusiasm for Mixed Martials Arts and Ultimate Fighter competitions inspired him to come up with the new 'Fighter On The Inside' design. In order to appeal to fans and students of Ultimate Fighting, Karate, Kung-fu, Boxing, Wrestling, and other combat styles, the drawing of head gear, gloves, and equipment was intentionally excluded. The designs come in 4 different colors to allow for a variety of skin colors, plus a black & white, or a red & white option. Above the artwork is the statement of 'Accountant On The Outside', or 'Doctor On The Outside', or 'Lawyer On The Outside', or 'Teacher On the Outside', etc. There are 24 occupations; including Sailor, Marine, Airman, and Soldier.

A little background on Steamy: Over time, his writing and art have appeared within the pages of many magazines like Easyriders, Hustler, and even the genteel Saturday Evening Post. His cartoons also appear in National Lampoon books. Today, on the internet, Steamy operates his e-store, Steamy’s Surf Shack, at www.cafepress.com/surfshack. Fifteen sections carry his original ideas on t-shirts, coffee mugs, buttons, greeting cards, and practically everything under the Sun. You’ll find hilarious cartoons, strong political statements, Native American causes, occupational, hobby, alternative lifestyles, and yes, even Surfing themes! It’s quite an amazing place and well worth a visit the next time you surf the net.

Steamy just returned to live in the Las Vegas area. He’s very excited about the move and is looking forward to renewing friendships in the art and entertainment world of Sin City. Steamy was a 4-year member of Las Vegas Artists Guild (VAG) from 2002-2006. This creative dynamo is also filling the position of Creative Director with Dragon Wolf Ads. Be on the lookout for the Wild Wolf Charity Run poster for October 19, 2008, in Las Vegas. It’s a luxury sports car poker run event. Steamy’s art was commissioned to be the centerpiece for the poster. A signing of the poster, by the artist, will be at a festival in Sunset Park, to be held after the race.
