December 8, 2011 (FPRC) -- Options trading education site easy-options-trading.com, in association with binaryoptionsdaytrading.com, have developed and released a free and simple guide to trading options. Investors interested in exploring the higher return opportunities that come via use of option contracts now have a no-cost, no-obligation training course that explains the basic opportunities and risks associated with trading options.

The course is delivered in an online email based format, with users receiving lessons in bite-sized chunks over a period of days. Users have unrestricted access to easy to understand worksheets, tutorial videos, and detailed examples. By the end of the course students will have learned the basic terminology of option contracts, payoff scenarios, and several basic trading strategies using both binary options and standard options.

Steve Wise, developer of the options trading course, says, 'We start with binary options, the most simplistic form of options trading. Doing so allows the students to cheaply learn and try real-world examples with real-dollars without the nuisance of transaction costs and back-end (selling) decision-making. It gets the trader focused on getting good at picking direction and making decisions, not worrying or over-analyzing spreads and transaction costs. Once students have developed a sense of trading contracts in a low cost format we introduce the more complicated and capital intensive standard options trading tutorial.'

While the course is not designed to provide a comprehensive education about all manners of options strategy, it does introduce the terminology and provides students direction as to where to learn more information. Says Wise, 'We aimed to answer the basic questions and introduce options trading in a way that de-mystifies it. By doing so we hope that students learn to take small dollar risks with real money and gain the experience of actually putting money at risk in the options market. Dipping your toe in the water is the first step toward figuring out if you'll like swimming - and it's a lot more sensible than diving in head-first.'

The no-cost, no-obligation course is available with a simple email signup at http://easy-options-trading.com/guide-to-trading-options/
