draglet Bitcoin bootcamp reached 600 participants and releases version 2.0, which contains achievements and new improvements.
January 2, 2014 (FPRC) -- On January 1st, the draglet Bitcoin exchange game reached 600 participants. Since its launch on 1st of December 2013 by German draglet GmbH, the Bitcoin exchange game is the first Bitcoin exchange simulation with a real Bitcoin prize pool worldwide.
Customer Relationship Manager Benjamin Bommhardt is pleased with the high demand: “The flow of new participants into our Bitcoin exchange game confirms the demand of a broad audience for a free alternative to learn Bitcoin trading. Now we have to gather the emerging user feedback and use it to organically adept our Bitcoin exchange environment to our users' needs.”
The Bitcoin exchange game allows to learn the trading of virtual currencies free of charge and without taking any risk. It offers a realistic exchange environment that handles classic order placing based on the real Bitcoin exchange rate. This enables participants to get in touch with this innovative technology.
The top 100 game participants receive a share of the 1.5 Bitcoin prize pool. The prize distribution is according to the participant's position in the ranking. During a 3 month period participants can qualify for the prize pool distribution. The first round ends on 1st of March 2014 at 12:00 CEST.
Today, the 2nd of January 2014, version 2.0 of the Bitcoin exchange game was released. It features the new achievement system and incorporates last month's user feedback. The achievements are unlocked based on the participants' trading activities and successes. There are achievements for high volume trading, a high amount of trades, high account balances and ranking positions.
Further functions will be implemented in the near future. This includes displaying the orderbook, functional enhancements of the order matching and the introduction of a wallet to receive the won Bitcoins. The participant's feedback is an important driver for improvement.
