November 6, 2017 (FPRC) -- Seeker Educational Network is one of the world's newest ways to communicate online, as it says in its name Educational Network, meaning learning together. SeekerEd was built by a 16 year of genius name Arthur Goddard, who created the online platform while completing his CSEC subjects. Arthur Goddard the founder and creator of SeekerEd said that he wants everyone in his country, Trinidad and Tobago, to all have access to free education. His determination led to him dedicating his time to creating this educational platform. SeekerEd beta version was released on October, 25th 2017, where after the first 3 days he received over one thousand sign ups. When going through his statistics, he realized that Trinidad and Tobago wasn't the only country intrigued in his program; countries which were negatively affected by Hurricane Irma were also signing up and utilizing the beta version of SeekerEd. This is when his switched his focus of SeekerEd in the direction to providing free education for everyone who were completing Secondary School.

In creating this educational network he was able to utilize the above meaning to develop this computer application software, while encouraging the learning process in a nurturing virtual environment to include the natural behavior of an individual, around their friends to benefit the learning process. Research was done for Seeker revealing how school age students become very lackadaisical within class rooms. Many people thought this lackadaisical behaviour came about due to what they learn, but Seeker look in the opposite direction which is how they learn.

Seeker started its first experiment on High Schools, where a group of high school students did a class session with information and communication technologies (ICT), and it was proven that the use of (ICT) increased the student’s interest in a topic. In addition, what was also proven was that there was more relevant discussion between the students.

Seeker internalizes the expression “me…you…we” as a community of learners that uses peer to peer learning as one of their main learning technique, sharing their different individual answers upon a certain question, where the disabled, home learners, people of different intelligence can learn. Seeker wants education to be at your fingertips. In addition, Seeker builds the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of students. Wisdom is important due to the fact it deals with making accurate choices in life, knowledge can increase the amount of information upon a topic where it can help wisdom be more accurate and understanding builds the interpretation of various problems.

Seeker has been seen very beneficial to countries which had been affected by the hurricane, as most of the educational systems were negatively affected thus preventing students from going to school; Seeker plays a crucial role in providing education to those students. Countries such as Dominica Republic have students who are actively utilizing Seeker Educational Network as a learning tool.
