Tablet Talk, the top communication app for Android, announced the release of its newest update with Tablet Talk Version 1.6.2.
December 11, 2012 (FPRC) -- Tablet Talk, the top communication app for Android, announced the release of its newest update with Tablet Talk Version 1.6.2. With this new version, Tablet Talk is introducing an entirely new user experience and greater mobility in equipping a tablet with mobile phone features for texting and calling.
The launch of Tablet Talk Version 1.6.2 coincides with the release of Google Nexus 4 and Nexus 10. Tablet Talk is a comprehensive SMS app that allows users to send and receive text messages with a tablet, using the same mobile used in a smartphone. Tablet Talk works by connecting an Android tablet and phone over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, allowing users to text on their tablet anywhere and anytime. It integrates nearly every feature from a phone’s SMS app, while also providing other useful functions such as Caller ID and quick reply popups. It is a "must-have" app for a complete tablet experience.
When a message is received, it instantly syncs to the tablet. When a message is sent from the tablet, it instantly syncs to the phone too. Even status updates for sent SMS sync instantly to the tablet. When the user doesn't have their tablet, Tablet Talk automatically syncs any newly sent and received text to the tablet whenever the devices are connected, ensuring the tablet’s inbox is always up to date.
Installing Tablet Talk on both tablet and phone is easy. The app needs to be purchased only once. It will appear under the My Apps on the phone and tablet. There is no subscription, and updates will always be free. Setup is very simple, with detailed instructions and help available in the app.
The newest features in Tablet Talk Version 1.6.2 include:
Save MMS attachments in the tablet
Support for receiving video and audio attachments
New landscape dialer on on large screens
Third-party theme support
T9 search added to dial pad
Home screen shortcuts/Llama support
Jelly Bean notifications
Better functioning widget
Better draft saving
Other small fixes
The third-party theme support update will allow users to jazz up the interface of Tablet Talk, with a user-created theme already available to download from Google Play Store. Users may also interact and collaborate with the Tablet Talk developer to improve the app’s user interface based on user choices.
For Tablet Talk users, Version 1.6.2 is now available for download at Google Play Store http://goo.gl/G3npu. New users who want to maximize their tablet by integrating mobile phone features of texting and calling, Tablet Talk is easy to download and install. Check it out at the Google Play Store.
