March 16, 2010 (FPRC) -- In Dacula Georgia, Forthofer Marketing launched their new website on Monday, March 8, 2010. GalaxyBricks.com offers an online guide to everything that is LEGO Star Wars. The brainchild of brothers Jason and Stephen Forthofer, the website is devoted to the LEGOs Star Wars themed sets. This includes information not only on the Star Wars sets, but also the mini figures and their accessories.
LEGO bricks have been popular for generations, issuing many new and interesting sets in a wide range of themes. At Galaxy Bricks, however, the focus is entirely on the detailed and popular Star Wars themed sets. The Star Wars themed sets were first released in 1999, coinciding with the release of Episode 1, The Phantom Menace. Since then LEGO has developed more than 200 unique Star Wars sets, and it continues to be the most popular theme for the company. They currently offer sets based on the Clone Wars, each of the six movies, the Expanded Universe, Ultimate Collectors, and Technic. Information on all of these series can be found in great detail at Galaxy Bricks.
In September the Forthofer brothers, Jason and Stephen, took notice of how immensely popular these sets are and began building Galaxy Bricks. For Stephen Forthofer the inspiration came at church when he noticed that boys would actually carry the mini figures around in their pockets. Boys ages five to twelve are great fans of these sets and took great pleasure in talking to Stephen and Jason about the sets, the mini figures and the accessories.
The mission is best explained by Jason who says, "We want to create the best LEGO Star Wars guide on the web. Period." Visitors to Galaxy Bricks will find more than just pictures and informational blurbs. They will also find product videos. Images that can be zoomed into and highly detailed descriptions of the sets. The pages on the website will include the highly popular LEGO Star Wars mini figures as well as the most popular set to date: the LEGO Death Star.
