March 1, 2012 (FPRC) -- Software developer Rory Buckley today announced the release of his latest iPhone app which is named, 'i-Relax'. The app offers a great unique approach to visual relaxation via nature videos for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. I-Relax is designed to reduce stress levels by helping people relax and get away for few moments even if itís just in the car during lunch break.

There are two main reasons why people use image relaxation videos to help them relax. The first one is recreational and the second is to relieve stress. But whatever the reason for using these videos they are extremely effective at helping people overcome tough times. The videos use a mixture of relaxing visuals to help calm the nerves and relax the body naturally and slowly so that it is enjoyable.

With stress playing a major negative part of many peopleís lives, the i-Relax app is an ideal quick solution to help sooth those nerves. Although there may be many variations in the way videos are created for relaxation, there are two main varieties which are the most popular.

The first variation of relaxation videos are non-guided which means the user views a mixture of visual elements in combination with audio or a mixture of music and nature sounds are used to help the person relax. There is no voice talking on the video since it is non-guided.

Guided relaxation videos generally use the extra element of the spoken word within the video to guide the person step-by-step into a deep relaxation experience. The voice is usually used to provide guidance or instructions during the relaxation session and text messages may also be displayed on the viewing screen to reinforce the spoken word.

The new i-Relax app has so far received excellent reviews with an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars which is a good sign of the quality of the app. Most reviewers say the app was effective in helping them relax and they would recommend the app to a friend.

This app was developed by Rory Buckley - a keen app user & blogger turned app developer.
