June 12, 2012 (FPRC) -- Hemp has taken so many forms—from clothing to paper, jewelry to fuel. Just imagine what the world would be like if the government simply took the handcuffs off of hemp. Now take that vision and create a picture or drawing of any real or imaginary hemp item and submit in on the Chronic Ice Premium Hemp Iced Tea Facebook Photo Contest page (http://www.facebook.com/ChronicIceLA/app_197602066931325) for a chance to win a case of the healthy and refreshing beverage.

“You don’t have to be a photographer or sketch artist to join in—stick figures drawn with crayon or an ordinary photo with a clever caption can be fun and get the point across,” says Jamal Weathers, spokesperson for Greenlight Beverage, makers of Chronic Ice Premium Hemp Iced Tea. “Just take that spark of creativity and have fun, vote for your favorites and try to win some Chronic Ice delivered to your door.”

Early entries include Hempzilla, a Hemp Maze (or is it a crop circle?) shaped like a cow, Hempy Bear promoting greener forests, and a hemp Nintendo Wii controller titled “Wii-ed!”

The Chronic Ice Most Creative Use of Hemp Photo Contest comes at the heels of the third annual Hemp History Week, the largest national grassroots marketing and public education effort to renew strong support for hemp farming in the U.S. and raise awareness about the benefits of hemp products.

The rules are simple: Entrants can submit one new photo per day. The public votes for their favorites, and the three entrants whose pictures receive the most votes by midnight June 30, 2012, win. (The contest is in no way associated with or sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook.)

Chronic Premium Ice Hemp Iced Tea is the nation’s first premium hemp beverage. It is made with organic sugar cane, whole-leaf green tea, black tea and hemp seed. According to Best of Raw Foods, hemp seed contains the perfect balance of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to sustain human health, which makes it powerful against cancer and might be the single best food to prevent it.

Each serving of the antioxidant-rich, health tea is free of preservatives and high fructose corn syrup. It has been tested with oncologists and enjoyed by notable hip hoppers Lil’ Wayne, The Game and Snoop Dogg.
