January 28, 2014 (FPRC) -- Tampa, FL. The 2014 Zombie Film Challenge is designed for filmmakers, of all ages, to get together with people in their community and make a 10 minute zombie film. They have 30 days, from start to finish, to write, shoot, edit, and deliver their film. But, this challenge is more than just encouraging filmmakers to make zombie films. It is about getting their communities more involved with the filmmakers, having a fun experience, and providing a catalyst to make bigger and better films. Experienced independent filmmakers will evaluate each film. Each filmmaker will receive constructive feedback from the judges.
* All films will be eligible to compete for up to 18 awards
* 13 prizes will be awarded by our sponsor Beachtek (http://beachtek.com)
* Feedback by experienced filmmakers
* All films premiere to live audience in a theater, which makes your film IMDB eligible.
* All films will be part of online voting, which will include votes and audience feedback
Filmmaking is both an art form and a business. But, aspiring filmmakers cannot make films without the help and support of their community. The Zombie Film Challenge is a great opportunity for young filmmakers to get their friends, neighbors, and the local community involved in making a film.
