March 11, 2015 (FPRC) --

Redmond Inc’s natural toothpaste – Earthpaste – is becoming ever increasingly popular in the USA. The company is now hoping to match this success as they launch the product in the United Kingdom.

Earthpaste was created by Utah based company Redmond Inc after the company noticed there was a lack of truly natural toothpaste on the market. Up until now, consumers have found it difficult to find a toothpaste that didn’t contain chemicals and unnatural additives, and a formula that actually worked.

Purified water and hydrated Redmond Clay is used as the base of the Earthpaste, with the only added ingredients being real salt, xylitol and essential oils. Peppermint, wintergreen, citrus fruits, spearmint and cinnamon are the essential oils used to flavour the Earthpaste.

Marketing Manager for organic retailer Purely Natural Cosmetics, Jana Cevelova, is excited to have been the first UK online retailer to stock the brand since 2013. She discovered it while searching for new, completely natural, products to add to her web-site.

“There are so many dangers associated with using conventional toothpaste so we are extremely proud to be stocking one of the most highly respected brands on the market for natural oral care,” she says. “Redmond Inc represents everything we believe here at Purely Natural Cosmetics and we have already had very positive feedback about the product.”

Customers will discover that this natural toothpaste offers all of the benefits of a conventional toothpaste but does not contain any chemicals that could be bad for your body. Many pastes from large brands contain SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate), also known as a foaming agent, as well as chemicals that are used to make the paste a clean white colour. Fluoride is also another common ingredient in conventional toothpastes that damages gums by poisoning enzyme activity and slowing down the gum’s natural self-repair mechanism.

According to Redmond Inc, these ingredients are not just bad for your teeth, but are also not safe to swallow. Toothpaste brands that use these chemicals have warning labels on the packaging stating that the paste is not safe to swallow.

Earthpaste is now available from a variety of online retailers, however, Purely Natural Cosmetics is the preferred partner of the UK distributor.
